A fast-growing IT consultancy and cloud services organisation is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated individual with experience in the managed services sector, looking to work with a wide range of technologies and progress their career.
Job Title: IT Support Engineer
Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Location: Hemel Hempstead
Hours: Monday to Friday, to cover shift of 8am – 5pm & 9am to 6pm

- Managing service tickets via the internal system.
- Liaising with clients to ensure their IT requirements are met.
- Recommending, implementing, and supporting new technologies suited to client needs.
- Maintaining and optimising clients’ day-to-day IT operations.
- Providing support via telephone, remote administration tools, and on-site visits.
- Managing projects from initial quotation through to post-implementation support.
Do you have the required skills and experience required?
- Experience with Microsoft Windows 7 onwards and Office 2010 onwards.
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365.
- Exposure to infrastructure devices such as switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Experience working within a busy IT support desk environment.
- 2–3 years’ experience in IT support within the managed services sector.
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to learn quickly.
- A proactive attitude with a passion for learning new technologies.
- Ability to work effectively within a friendly and collaborative team.
Additional Information:
- This role is primarily office-based, with occasional travel to client sites required (approx. 2 days per month).
- The position is ideal for an individual who is passionate about IT and eager to develop their skills across a broad range of technologies.
