💰 Salary: Up to £39,336 (DOE)
🕒 Permanent | Full-time
Reporting to the Director of People & Culture, you will lead the end-to-end recruitment process across academic, support and leadership roles while developing a more strategic approach to talent acquisition. The role will also support workforce planning activity, helping the organisation anticipate future skills needs and build strong talent pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment across academic, support and leadership roles
- Develop engaging and inclusive job advertisements and manage recruitment campaigns
- Support hiring managers with shortlisting, interviews and selection best practice
- Ensure all recruitment activity follows safer recruitment and safeguarding requirements
- Analyse vacancy trends, turnover and recruitment data to support workforce planning
- Build talent pipelines, particularly for hard-to-fill lecturer and specialist roles
- Develop and promote the college’s employer brand within the FE sector and local community
- Monitor recruitment KPIs such as time to hire, quality of hire and cost per hire
About You
Essential:
- Previous experience in recruitment, resourcing or talent acquisition
- Strong stakeholder management and the ability to support managers through recruitment processes
- Knowledge of recruitment legislation, safer recruitment and inclusive hiring practices
- Experience using recruitment or HR data to inform hiring decisions
- Confident working with senior leaders and multiple departments
Desirable:
- Experience within education, FE or the public sector
- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience
- Experience supporting workforce planning or employer branding initiatives
