Our client, based in Lingfield are looking for an experienced full time Payroll Specialist to join their friendly practice, who can work efficiently within a small team, with excellent attention to detail.   While the focus is on payroll, there is an increasing need from their client base wanting more help with bookkeeping, so this is a growth area within the practice.

You will have at least 4 years payroll experience on several payroll packages, IRIS payroll desirable, and use of Microsoft Office suite of products. You will be capable processing weekly and monthly payroll for clients, uploading monthly pension contributions to various Pension providers and have the experience of completion and submission of payroll year end for clients of all sizes.

You will have clear communication skills to retrieve and communicate specific information internally and externally, have strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently and within a team, as well as, the ability to prioritise, multi-task and work under pressure.

A professional payroll qualification and bookkeeping experience would be highly beneficial for this post.

Whilst the position indicates a base of Lingfield the successful candidate will be required to split their time between two sites: Lingfield and Caterham therefore you will be a driver.

Package:

  • Basic £30,000 – £35,000
  • 22 days holidays + BH
  • Pension
  • Office opening hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 5.15pm
  • Parking at both sites

Your role will include:

  • Managing all aspects of payroll for over 60 clients
  • Submission of subcontractor CIS returns and CIS suffered
  • Pension calculations and submissions
  • P11d’s
  • General administration and financial tasks as required
  • Completion and submission of Statutory forms – training will be provided if necessary.
  • Bookkeeping support
