Salary: £24,511 basic plus performance bonus (£1500) and excellent benefits.

Hours: This position is based on a 35-hour week and will include working weekends and bank holidays, covering shifts between 7am and 10pm (You may be required to work the occasional night shifts from 9pm to 7.30am - £55 extra shift allowance will be in place)

Start: 16th January 2023

Our client is one of the UK’s leading Medical Assistance providers and due to business growth, they are looking to recruit a Medical Assistance Coordinator to join the team.

They are looking for candidates with exceptional customer service skills, who are engaging, empathetic and able to deal with sensitive and difficult situations – you will have good listening skills and the ability to multi-task large caseloads, ensuring that customer needs are met, and all documentation and records are kept up to date.

What will your working week be like?

  • Handling incoming customer assistance calls daily in a helpful, friendly, polite and professional way. You could be liaising with clinics, GPs, customers or their relatives.
  • To provide proactive solutions to our customers in line with our client’s expectations.
  • To manage each task to ensure that customers receive the most appropriate service in a timely and cost effective manner.
  • Handle all regulated complaints within the FCA complaint guidelines
  • Escalate high profile cases or contentious issues to the right Manager as soon as possible.

Do you have the required skills to be considered?

  • Good standard of general education.
  • English Language GCSE pass or equivalent
  • Genuine desire to provide a high level of customer service
  • The ability to effectively manage multiple cases
  • Excellent telephone communication
  • PC literate
  • Good worldwide geographical knowledge
  • Proven experience of providing a quality customer service within a pressurised environment
  • You should be a great communicator and be able to get on with people
  • You need to be flexible, proactive and think on your feet
