The successful candidate needs to be able to develop and motivate their staff team, ensuring a high standard of childcare practice throughout the nursery and excellent level of customer service to parents. It is expected that the Nursery Manager will take responsibility for establishing and developing operational procedures, help recruit and train staff and work to ensure the commercial success and long-term sustainability of the venture.
Ongoing support will be provided by the Director and other Management figures and external agencies, as appropriate.
The Nursery Manager will be office based for 2 days a week and working within the rooms for the other 3 day
Hours of work: 7.15 am - 6.30 pm, Monday to Friday, working alternate shifts of 7.15 am - 5:00 pm or 9.00 am - 6.30 pm.
Holiday entitlement: 20 days per year plus Bank Holidays. Extra holiday is offered on a loyalty scheme.
