What will your working week be like?

 

Providing day to day operational support to the Operations Manager, wider business and acting as a point of contact for a large number of remote workers.

 

  • Ensure company, staff and vehicle records are up to date and accurate
  • Manage fleet of company vehicles including location, mileage, tax, insurance and fuel requirements
  • Manage supply levels of key consumables and ensure adequate stocks on hand
  • Trend analysis for resources consumed across the business
  • Management and control of monthly field/site reporting
  • Staff induction for remote workers and temporary staff, as required
  • Support and query resolution for 90+ remote workers
  • Oversight and management of company central email accounts
  • Correspond with external agencies, ie. insurers, suppliers, etc.
  • Diary management for controlling future delivery of key tasks and events
  • Responsible for processing all incoming and outgoing mail
  • Some adhoc tasks to support the finance functions of the business (payroll processing, credit cards, petty cash, etc)
  • Support the Operations Manager in fulfilment of prevailing tasks
  • Adhoc support for the Managing Director
  • Secretarial duties / filing and records maintenance
  • Ensure the smooth running of the Head Office and be highly available as a contact point during working hours Monday to Friday

 

Who will suit this role?

 

In order to be successful within the position you will need to approach each day with enthusiasm and energy, a can-do attitude and a willingness to give 100% to your day.  You should also possess the following skills and attributes;

 

  • High attention to detail and well organised
  • A high energy, hands on, proactive approach
  • Good communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office systems (Word, Excel) and experience in Sage Accounts beneficial
  • Experience of bookkeeping and accounting entry
  • Previous experience in an office management role with remote workforce preferable
  • Located in reasonable proximity to Gatwick
  • Should have an interest in aviation
