Our client is an independent, family run, market leading commercial motor insurance brokerage.  With an expertise in insuring things with wheels they have a track record of establishing niche markets and looking to move forward in a strategic manner.

 

They have arranged high quality cover and provided intelligent insurance solutions to the professional commercial motorists of the U.K. for over 25 years.

 

Now looking for a Marketing Executive to join them in their new, modern and fun offices, the role will offer a fantastic platform for the suitable candidate to develop their skills and knowledge relating to both online and offline marketing techniques.

 

 

What will your working week be like?

 

  • Creating copy for both on and offline communications (including blog, press releases, editorial content)
  • Answering press queries, managing the publications and advertorials calendars
  • Establishing a relationship with trade journalists and influencers, seeking backlinks
  • Working with designers to create display advertising within the brand guidelines
  • Coordinating digital, SEO, affinity, email and outbound marketing campaigns as need demands
  • Regularly updating the company’s social media accounts with appropriate content
  • Compiling ROI reports & providing insight for the performance of advertising campaigns and social channels
  • Identifying new trends and opportunities, monitoring competitors and market activity

 

 

Who will suit this role?

 

  • At least one year of experience working in marketing or graduate level education
  • Highly self-motivated with a desire to see projects through to completion
  • Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills
  • Previous PR experience would be preferable
  • All work is to comply within FCA Regulations (guidance will be provided.)
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Excellent relationship building and communication skills
  • A basic understanding of insurance is preferable but an ability to learn and adapt quickly is essential
  • An interest in motoring/vehicles is preferable but not essential
  • Desire to learn as comprehensive in-house training will be provided
