About the Company

 

Our client, a successful and rapidly expanding Insurance Brokerage is looking for an experienced PA to support the Managing Director. This is a busy role that will require someone organised and efficient.  It is a true PA role with the opportunity to come involved with company events and projects and suitable candidates will be able to act as a gatekeeper but also forge strong relationships with employees and stakeholders.

 

What will your working week be like?

 

  • Arranging travel and accommodation for directors
  • Screening phone calls, enquiries and requests and handling them when appropriate
  • Meeting and greeting visitors at all levels of seniority
  • Organising and maintaining diaries and making appointments
  • Dealing with incoming emails and post and often corresponding on behalf of the managing director
  • Producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations as well as preparing packs for board meetings
  • Taking notes in meetings and preparing minutes and agendas
  • Organising and attending meetings and ensuring the managing director is well-prepared for meetings
  • Issuing and following up on action points from meetings
  • Liaising with clients, suppliers and staff
  • Assisting with organising events
  • Collating and filing expenses on behalf of the managing director 

 

Who will suit this role?

 

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent word processing and IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft office
  • The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • The ability to use your own initiative
  • Honesty and reliability
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Discretion and understanding of confidential issues
  • A minimum of two years’ PA experience
