This is a rare opportunity to work for a professional, family run company located near to main transport links in Kenley.  Our client offers 24-hour support to children and young people in their residential homes, semi-independent and outreach units based across South East London.

Salary: £25,000 to £30,000 (depending on experience)

Location: Kenley / Hybrid

Hours: Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm (Mon, Tue & Thu in the office, Wed & Fri work from home with some flexibility required)

What will your working week involve?

In this role you will provide a professional HR administrative service to the organisation, including:

  • Provide a proactive HR administrative service to key clients both internally and externally.
  • Ensure that all relevant checks including those relating to legal and statutory compliance are undertaken in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that changes that affect an employees pay, including changes to personal details are processed in a timely manner and in line with payroll cut off dates
  • Maintain and update the HR systems with all employee changes and ensure accuracy of all records.
  • Provide advice and guidance to managers and staff on HR issues referring more complex issues to the HR Manager.
  • Monitor the HR email inbox and respond to queries, monitoring issues and escalating patterns.
  • Recruitment and onboarding of new employees
  • Managing the staff training in liaison with the HR Manager

 

Who will this role suit?

The successful candidate will have gained previous HR Administration experience working within a fast paced and pressurised environment. You will have experience of using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, and ideally will hold experience of using new systems.

 

You will be highly organised, accurate and have the ability to multi-task. If you are looking to start work straight away, then please get in touch!

 

  • Experience in advising managers and staff across a range of HR policies and procedures
  • CPID Level 3 or working towards
  • Good understanding of employment legislation
  • Exposure to Microsoft Office packages – Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Superb attention to detail
  • Able to work under pressure and to prioritise workload to ensure deadlines are met.
