We have a fantastic opening to join a successful and expanding college group – based predominantly at the Redhill site, but with some travel to Croydon as Social Media Coordinator.

This post will suit an enthusiastic, confident and motivated individual, who holds a Marketing qualification/degree and proven experience within a Digital Marketing role, working on websites and social media campaigns. Experience of copywriting and proof-reading skills with excellent attention to detail is a must. However this client is flexible in the experience gained, and will offer the opportunity for extensive training opportunities alongside the day to day role.

Offering a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience plus benefits including; training, pension, free gym, employee support services, salon discounts, generous holiday allowance and lots more! You will work 08:45 to 17:00.

As part of the Communications branch of the marketing team, you’ll manage the digital channels including social media, email marketing and website. You’ll be responding to queries, creating engaging digital content that is relevant to target audiences in support of both strategic and tactical objectives and monitoring and reporting on the success of this content.

You will create and lead on the delivery of online marketing activity that drives enrolment and liaise with the design team to create engaging assets for use across different social media channels, website and emails. You will also manage and develop the websites using a Content Management System and support all relevant departments producing customer-facing communication to ensure a continuous and consistent message.

Who will suit this role?

As a person, you’ll be highly organised and able to balance multiple projects whilst liaising with a wide range of audiences at all levels across the Group and also be able to work both independently and in a team.

You will need excellent organisational skills, a great eye for detail and have the ability to manage your own workload to meet tight deadlines.

  • Marketing degree / relevant professional qualifications desirable
  • Proven experience in a digital marketing role, working on websites
  • Exemplary copywriting and proof-reading skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Experience of social media marketing/management for an organisation
  • Experience of email marketing
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and working cross departmentall
  • Design skills desirable
