Being a leading financial services organisation, our client is looking for people who are passionate about providing an outstanding service for their customers.

For their customers you will be more than just a friendly person to answer their queries in writing or via the contact centre; You will have great listening skills and attention to detail to problem solve. You will be involved in dealing with customers queries in writing ensuring that quality of the service you provide is maintained to a high standard as well as treating customers fairly and maintaining the teams SLA’s.

This is a varied and interactive role where no two days are the same; and even more so you will be joining a supportive team of advisors and are guided, trained, and developed by a dedicated team leader.

What you’ll be doing

  • Respond to customer queries in writing.
  • Always follow company policy adhering to service levels and current legislation.
  • Understand issues from the customer’s perspective
  • Identify resolutions that are fair to the customer and business where possible.
  • To ensure all customer related data is accurately recorded and always factual in line with GDPR.
  • Investigate, log, resolve and response to customer or claims management company queries surrounding Credit Files and Data Subject Access requests within the regulatory time frame
  • Deal with or escalate any identified risks in relation to risk policies and/or legislative and regulatory guidelines in accordance with the Santander UK group risk framework

Who will suit this role? 

Suitable candidates will have strong interpersonal skills and an excellent telephone manner with the ability to communicate with many different customers and handle lots of different types of conversations, from answering a simple question to handling more complex issues whether that be over the phone or in written communication.

This would suit someone who has worked in a commercial customer service environment previously, looking for a step up, dealing with more complex queries.

The information you really want to know – The Salary and Benefits package

Starting salary of £20,500 plus £500 flexible Benefit Allowance per annum and Quarterly Personal Performance Bonus Scheme, as well as, 25 days holiday per annum, plus bank holidays, Pension contribution - Minimum 3% with an employer matched contribution, Corporate rates for private medical insurance and other insurance products, Employee assistant programme, Enhanced family friendly policies, Sharesave scheme, Discounts on high street brands and Local retail discounts.

The hours of work will be Monday - Friday 9:00 - 5:00, please be advised you will be required to work 2 bank holidays during the year which you will receive overtime payment for at the appropriate rate to compensate your dedicated time.
