Senior Residential Support Worker – Step Up to Deputy Manager

South London

40 hours per week, Shift pattern

Salary –   £38,000 – £40,000 DOE

Step into Leadership and help shape young lives.

We are looking for a Deputy Manager for a leading care provider in South London to support young people from complex backgrounds, including those with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and high-risk challenging behaviour.

If you’re a Senior Residential Support Worker who’s already leading on shift and wants to progress into a Deputy Manager role, this is a genuine step-up opportunity, not a title with no support. We’re recruiting on behalf of a long-established Children’s Residential provider who develops their people and promotes from within.

You will need:

  • Experience in a Children’s Residential Home – minimum 2 years
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Confidence leading shifts and supporting staff
  • Ambition to move into management

What you will gain:

  • A clear pathway into a Deputy Manager role
  • Structured support, mentoring, and development
  • Stability with a provider established for decades
  • A leadership role where your voice is heard

Salary & benefits:

  • Competitive salary with step-up uplift
  • Paid training and career development
  • Ongoing progression opportunities
