A leading firm of solicitors are looking to recruit an Office Assistant to join them and assist with supporting the office and individual departments.  Working Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm this is a great opportunity to learn and progress.  With a competitive salary of £17,000 per annum plus excellent benefits it could be just the role you are looking for!

 

If you are the sort of candidate who is happy to pull their sleeves up and muck in where necessary with a real mix of duties then this could be the role for you!

 

Using your previous administration and organisational skills; supporting different departments and the office as a whole, you will be rewarded with a competitive salary, excellent benefits and a vibrant and modern working environment.

 

 

What will your working week be like?

 

  • General office management
  • Franking, archiving, filing and post for all departments
  • Answering calls, welcoming visitors and providing refreshments
  • Ensuring the office is clean and tidy at all times
  • Responsible for ordering kitchen stock and stationery
  • Preparing meeting rooms
  • Arranging maintenance visits
  • All ad hoc office admin

 

Who will suit this role?

 

  • Educated to a minimum GCSE (or equivalent) standard with a C in Maths and English
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Drive and enthusiasm
  • Good standard of written and spoken English
  • Good knowledge and experience of administration systems
  • Good knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Ability to prioritise and organise workload
  • Clear, concise and logical verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to use own initiative
