Salary: £11.00 to £13.00 per hour

Location: Horley

Start: ASAP – minimum 4 weeks/ongoing

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm 

 

Our client are a well-established, independently funded, and innovative end-to end Solutions Provider, with an enviable reputation within the market place. They are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join them on a temporary basis at their Horley office.

 

What will your working week be like?

 

This is a varied role and will suit an experienced, capable, and organised individual, fully conversant in good Bookkeeping practices. It is essential to possess excellent systems skills including QuickBooks accounting software, and MS Excel, and be able to ’hit the ground running’.

 

The role requires the successful candidate to be wholly responsible for the integrity of the Accounts Department including accurate posting to the Sales, Purchase & Nominal ledgers, raising customer invoices and credit notes as well as running weekly and month end payment runs.

 

In addition amongst other general office duties including booking goods in and dispatching, you will be also be required to input bank payments, contact suppliers with any invoice queries & resolve any issues, dispatch goods, and also deal with any customer returns and arrange for collections if necessary.
