Hours: 9am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday

 

About the Company

 

This is an excellent opportunity to join an exciting and rapidly expanding project management company that oversee the life cycle of a product, from conception to end delivery, into a number of retail establishments.

 

Responsible for the Marketing, Logistics and Account Management of luxury confectionary and working closely with European chocolatiers, this is a chance to develop skills and grow in a fast paced and exciting industry.

 

What will your working week be like?

 

  • Acting as a valuable member of the team, recognised as an important part of company growth
  • Raising purchase orders and work orders, logging and updating their progress on the system
  • Keeping a close check on inventory levels and working to make sure there is the right amount of stock at all times
  • Working with a diverse portfolio of suppliers, ensuring all information is available as required
  • Making sure data is recorded correctly so any conclusions are correct
  • Helping to resolve day to day supply issues - every day will bring new challenges
  • Downloading and processing the many formats of customer data
  • Moving goods around the production network to ensure they are in the right place at the right time when they are required
  • Managing (editing, updating and producing) complex spreadsheets; including use of formulas, pivot tables and reporting tools
  • Managing statistics and solving problems

 

Who will suit this role?

 

  • This is a position that will suit someone looking to grow their skill set. You will have an analytical mind and enjoy working with statistics and numbers
  • Suitable candidates will be quick with computer software and be able to prove you can work autonomously - accuracy and attention to detail are key attributes
  • You need to have a passion for numbers and for data, but you also like to roll your sleeves up, pick up the phone and get stuck in to solve problems
  • If you have previous experience of administering Purchase Orders, works orders and inventory information that will be an advantage
  • Candidates will be very numerate, will love Maths and able to pick up new ideas and concepts quickly
  • Strong MS Excel skills. If the idea of working with Excel doesn’t excite you this may not be the right role…
  • Willing to learn - you love self-learning and improvement
  • Attention to detail
  • Tenacious - failure simply isn’t an option
  • Outgoing with a sense of fun!
  • Calm under pressure and able to juggle a busy workloads
  • Proactive with bags of initiative; if something can be made better you actively challenge the status quo and show how it can be improved
