An amazing opportunity has arisen for a Malting and Brewing Project Assistant to join a leading Food & Drink advisory business based in Redhill, Surrey.

 

Salary: £18,000

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

Benefits: 24 days holiday plus bank holidays, stakeholder pension, Health Insurance, Sick pay, parking, subsidised restaurant/vending machines.

 

The purpose of your role will be to undertake Malting and Brewing project work, report results internally and externally, support activities in the pilot malting and brewery and, when required, lead projects.  The prime focus is within the Malting and Brewing section, but there may be a requirement to perform tasks in other sections within the Brewing Services department.

 

Qualifications and competencies required for this role:

 

  • Capable of moving heavy items, must be physically fit
  • Good all-round knowledge of the brewing processes
  • Ability to work within a team with minimal supervision and accurately follow instructions/SOPs
  • Flexibility to undertake a number of tasks and able to prioritise
  • Accurate record keeping and reporting
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • ‘Can do’ attitude

 

Skills: brewing, brewer, cleaning, samples, data, kegs, physical, PPE, science, beer, ale, lager, stout, IPA, project work, reporting, malting.
