The Company:

 

Our client, a family run PR company are seeking a PR Account Manager/Director to join their team. Specialising in luxury property and interior design, the PR team has an exciting, rapidly expanding client base including the UK’s largest housebuilder, award winning agencies and boutique developers.

The successful candidate will be expected to work with the innovative, forward thinking property PR team to deliver national and international public relations for its growing client base. What will your working week be like?

 

  • Handle day to day PR tasks working with the team to drive and manage client accounts
  • Generating excellent press coverage in UK and overseas media, delivering on the client brief and requirements
  • Prepare PR proposals and participate in new business pitches
  • Implement PR strategies for clients
  • Draft press releases, editorial and advertorials for the client
  • Organise and attend events, exhibitions, brand alliances, journalist briefings and press trips
  • Prepare award entries
  • Lead and run accounts
  • Prepare data led reports
  • Liaise with the media, pitch stories, exclusives and handle reactive media requests
  • Manage other team members as the company grows

 

Who will suit this role?

 

In order to be successful in this role you will:

 

  • Have 2+ years’ experience working in PR along with International PR expertise
  • Ideally have experience in the property, consumer and corporate PR sectors
  • Be well-organised with good time management ability
  • Have excellent communication skills, including a good phone manner
  • Be well-presented, polite and confident
  • Have good copywriting and press release skills
  • Be proactive, creative and willing to work hard to deliver exceptional results for the client
  • Have a friendly, approachable and energetic personality and find it easy to build rapport with others
