As Senior Administrator you will be providing joint direct support to the Director and the MD’s EA. Due to the location of the business – your own transport is essential.

 

The Role

 

Overall purpose of the role will be to work closely with the MD and his EA. The MD is in the position of writing a book and setting up further businesses and therefore your main duties will include but will not be limited to:

 

  • Ensuring book chapters have been received by the ghost writer
  • Keeping up to date with the book audit
  • Ensuring the book runs to target
  • Liaison with customers and suppliers
  • Updating winners from the online auction
  • Booking of holiday destinations, flights, transport etc
  • Ensuring stock is distributed on time to winners
  • Errands, basic office shopping and tasks
  • Editing documents; Printing; Faxing; Photocopying; Filing
  • Preparing meeting rooms
  • Making Tea and Coffee for visitors
  • Overall support to EA

 

The Candidate

 

You will be able to demonstrate exceptional communication skills, a deep understanding of working to tight deadlines, and have the capacity to work successfully under pressure. You will have an enthusiastic personality, an ability to converse at all levels and hold experience within a customer focused and administrative environment.

 

Personality: Self-driven & self-motivated, organised, results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality of customer service. Reliable, enthusiastic, determined and able to work well under pressure. Well-presented and business-like. Must have good interpersonal skills, a good team player and able to get on with the other members of the administrative team.

 

Specific Job Skills: Desire to know the business and its clients, products and services. Good Administration background is essential gained preferably in a corporate environment. Be able to use own initiative, prioritize workload and be self-dependent.

Must have strong  customer service skills as well as good written & verbal skills.

 

Computer skills: Must be adept in advance MS Office 2000, particularly Excel and Word, and ideally Access or similar database to advance level, Internet and email.

 

You should have a good standard of general education with a minimum of 4 GCSEs or equivalent, including English & Maths, together with a minimum of 3 years administration experience.
