This is a superb opportunity for a candidate with a technical/electrical interest or qualification to learn the business and put their technical knowledge to use whilst providing a first-class Customer Service.

What will your working week be like?

The purpose of this role is to provide support to the whole business within a customer focused environment. Working predominantly within the customer service/admin division the role will require you to be first point of contact for all inbound communication; over the telephone and via email/fax, however due to business needs and trends, the successful candidate will receive the opportunity to learn the full business, and will receive training in all areas including warehouse, technical and sales.

  • Taking incoming sales calls and providing quotes to customers
  • Providing technical assistance over the phone to customers
  • Offering advice on products specific to customer requirements
  • Processing customer orders
  • Ensuring stock readily available and providing delivery dates to customers
  • After sales support to customers and sales division
  • Processing customer contracts
  • Packaging products for delivery
  • Taking in deliveries

This role offers the successful applicant on the job training and will allow you to find your niche within the business, enabling you to progress within a successful organisation.

Who will suit this role?

The successful candidate must have previous customer service experience, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally over the phone with customers and face to face with clients alike. You will be required to provide a first line support to all incoming calls; therefore you must portray a friendly and welcoming manner.

  • Electrical/technical knowledge or qualification would be beneficial
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Flexibility and commitment is important for this role
