An exciting opportunity has arisen, for a Sales Executive, to join a rapidly growing events company based in Hove who offer fantastic earning potential, flexible hours and international travel.

Our client is looking for talented sales people to join them and sell exhibition space and sponsorship at international events – with fantastic chances of career progression and an uncapped commission structure, this is the perfect job if you are looking to progress in your sales career. Experience in business-to-business selling is essential but you do not need to have worked in the exhibitions industry previously.

Reporting to the CEO, the Events Sales Executive will be responsible for driving a targeted sales campaign, calling senior decision makers from technology companies around the world and building market leading events.

Working closely with the Event Directors, you will be working with an established database, contacting businesses to discuss and sell space for upcoming events, additionally, you will have the opportunity to attend the events, meeting those you have made relationships with and upselling for future exhibitions.

The Sales Executive will be entrepreneurial, driven and extremely persuasive. A people person who is sensitive to cultural differences. Experience in a telephone-based sales role is essential, along with an excellent telephone manner.

  • Be resilient and comfortable talking with senior decision makers, company CEO’s and managing directors.
  • Strong written communication is essential

As well as working within a flourishing industry, and business, our client has been lucky to continue their growth during the pandemic allowing now for a bigger head count, great aspirations and big company goal focusses. Offering a basic salary of up to £25,000 (DOE) and a realistic OTE of £60,000, this is certainly the time to join a company and become their future! Office hours are Monday to Friday 9-5:30 although due to the nature of the role, you will be required to attend events, which may result in additional hours and over night stays.
