We are pleased to be working with a local business to support with their current recruitment need to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic Client Services Advisor working within a larger College Group, based at their Redhill site.

Offering a competitive salary of up to £28,000 (Subject to qualifications, skills and experience), Hours: 8:45am – 5pm this organisation also offers 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and closure days (pro rata), free parking, employee support services, free gym, discounted salon use, staff classes.

The purpose of this role is to coordinate the services provided by Client Services Advisor’s, whilst also maintaining and delivering an excellent level of customer service. The post holder will also be responsible for supporting the Admission and Enrolment Manager to meet targets and delivery of services and to deputise as appropriate.

  • To support the Head of Client Services in coordinating the application, interview, offer & enrolment process for all funding streams
  • To contribute to the Client Services Advisors 1-2-1 meetings and PPDRs
  • To produce reports for the Head of Client Services on number of applications and their status
  • To support the Head of Client Services in the delivery of a consistent and effective customer focused service, to achieve the departmental Service Level Agreement and other targets set
  • To provide information, advice, and guidance on courses and progression
  • To provide initial guidance to learners on financial and additional support opportunities
  • To provide accurate residency and funding information
  • To develop and maintain the knowledge required to advise customers on the enrolment service delivered (e.g. curriculum provision and Study Programme requirements, prior attainment from the LRS, learner eligibility for funding, fee remission).
  • To process enrolments and authorised data amendments, ensuring accuracy and completion in line with College MIS guidance.
  • To work closely with the Curriculum Administrators to ensure course literature and information is available to students
  • To ensure accurate cash collection and MIS data entry processes are followed.
  • To assist with college events, including enrolment sessions and open evenings in line with the College Calendar.

Who will this role suit? 

  • Minimum Maths & English GCSE/or equivalent, C or above
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of customer service, ideally in a face to face capacity
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (especially Excel)
  • Work experience using databases, completing data entry, maintaining effective filing systems
  • An empathic, but professional attitude with strong attention to detail
  • The ability to multi-task and flexibility to meet varying deadlines and business needs
