We are pleased to be supporting a rapidly growing organisation who offer a fantastic working environment, to recruit a highly experienced SEO Manager to join a newly created IT and Marketing team who will take responsibility of owning, managing and developing the SEO strategy for four online brands. You will have a strong technical SEO background and plenty of drive, self-motivation and a real passion for everything digital.

Having previously used an agency for all SEO work, they are now looking to bring this in-house.  The SEO Manager will work closely with the SEO Executive(s) to drive through the SEO strategy across all brands; this will be a hands-on role and extensive SEO knowledge is required.

With a minimum of 3 years technical SEO experience, the successor will have a proven track record in a senior level SEO role.

The following skills and experience or required to be considered for this role:

  • Extensive experience in keyword research, content creation and content marketing for SEO
  • Technical SEO experience, you’ll be able to review our sites and identify issues impacting organic search performance
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Experience of cross-functional team working – content writers, developers and the wider marketing team
  • Strong understanding of all digital marketing channels
  • Excellent ability to translate complex information in to strategic insight and actions
  • Experience of working to tight deadlines
  • Excellent understanding of Google’s algorithm and SEO Best Practice
  • Solid understanding of SEO tools including Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, AWR Cloud and Google Search Console
  • Knowledge of Schema and how to effectively include within websites
  • UX experience
  • Strong project management experience
  • Extensive senior stakeholder management experience
  • Diplomas or certificates in relevant marketing disciplines would be an advantage / educated to degree level or equivalent

Owning the SEO roadmap for 4 online brands you will work closely with the stakeholders to deliver the SEO strategy, working alongside the Marketing Manager to ensure SEO remains at the heart of the web development and website activity. You will play a pivotal role in the creation of the SEO strategy and work with the wider Digital Marketing Team to implement performance driving initiatives.
