A respected, growing and established niche commercial insurance company, based in Sutton, who pride themselves on their staff and the service provided to customers are looking to recruit a Customer Service Advisor to join their very busy team.

Offering a competitive salary of £18,000 - £22,000 DOE plus excellent benefits including 28 days holiday plus your birthday off, stakeholder pension scheme, flexitime system (up to 10 ‘flex’ days per year), Perkbox and Perkbox medical, 7 hour working day, regular performance reviews and lots more!

Sutton, SM1

Hours: Semi-shift between 8am to 6pm, working a 2 week rotating shift pattern to include: 8am-4pm and 10am-6pm with an hour allowed for lunch. 

What will your working week be like? 

Being responsible for ensuring customers have the best experience possible. Proactively answer incoming calls, emails and web chat and service existing customer needs. Provide support and comprehensive service and product information to customers.

This is a fast-paced, varied role where you will be tasked with, but not limited to:

  • Performing mid-term adjustments, servicing customer policies, renewal and cancellations
  • Respond to customer enquiries appropriately, ensuring all documentation is professional and correct
  • Recording and maintaining accurate policyholder information
  • Maintaining a thorough working knowledge and policy terms and conditions
  • Maximise renewal retention
  • Ensure customer complaints are resolved in a way that treats the customer fairly at all times, in-line with business processes and authority limits 

Who will suit this role?

Our client is looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join their busy customer services team.  The successful applicant will need to have a minimum of 1 years’ telephone based customer service experience.  This role would be ideal for somebody looking to take the next step in their customer service career.  Full training will be provided but it is expected that the individual will have excellent customer services skills, a confident telephone manner and excellent organisation skills.
