Our client is a specialist and leading supplier of electronic communication and signal intelligence technology to niche markets.

Due to continued growth and business demands, they are currently looking to recruit an experienced After Sales Administrator on a part-time basis to support the existing project management and business development teams with the delivery of current and future contracts.

 

What will your working week be like?

The successful candidate will support the delivery of solutions to their customers’ requirements to required time, cost and quality standards in addition to the generation of business development products (e.g. quotes).

  • Create and deliver project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Identify resources and assign responsibilities.
  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project(s) including risk.
  • Ensures project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored.
  • Work closely with relevant stake holders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project(s).
  • Support the definition and documentation of requirements.
  • Support the reporting of the quality, cost and time envelopes of projects.
  • Support business development by generating products.

Essential:

  • Results driven with a strong focus on providing quality solutions.
  • Calm and confident in stressful situations.
  • Must be capable and willing to undertake and pass security clearance checks.
  • Professionalism in a defence and security environment
  • Project experience.
  • GCSEs or equivalent at grades A-B in core subjects such as Maths, Science, English, History etc.
  • Experience in a business environment.
  • Computer literate – experienced with Microsoft Office applications; specifically MS Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

 

Desirable:

  • Project Management qualification and experience.
  • Defence and/or security experience.
  • Valid driving License.

 

What can our client offer you?

Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 pro rata

Working hours: 25 hours / week over 5 days – negotiable.

Working location: Redhill - office based with occasional working from home at Line Manager’s discretion.

Bonus: the company operates a discretionary bonus scheme which is performance related.

Pension: contributory with the company matching contributions up to 5%.

Health Insurance: included.

Holiday: 25 days plus statutory bank holidays.
