Due to continued growth this fantastic employer is currently looking to recruit an Operations Analyst whose role will be to support line management to maintain and manage the working relationship with their outsourced service providers.

The operational side of the business is carried out by their service provider and as such this position will incorporate delivering the required management information and oversight to the business. It will involve reviewing service levels, with a particular focus on establishing, maintaining, and ensuring the operational activities are conducted in line with their own Oversight Strategy and linked with the providers requirements. Further details as follows:

  • Assist the Head of Operations in developing strategy, with specific focus to ensure Operational Risk and Conduct Risk considerations are at the forefront of all decisions
  • Develop an annual activity plan outlining timings and opportunities for the works carried out
  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of agreed activity in line with prescribed budgets, through ongoing review and monitoring of Operational activities
  • Developing and maintaining an ongoing relationship with all key stakeholders, establishing appropriate oversight of their processes and service levels
  • Establish a sound working relationships to help optimise business offering and performance and to ensure appropriate communication channels across all business functions
  • Display a good insight and the ability to formulate action plans and recommendations based upon interpreting data
  • Analysing multiple complex data sources and presenting clear, timely and appropriate recommendations to internal and external stakeholders
  • Carry out risk identification, assessment, and communication activities through the analysis of data reports and through the alignment of policies, processes, and quality assurance and highlighting trends and recommending remedial action as required

Given the scope of this opportunity, it is essential that the suitable candidates have experience and knowhow as detailed:

  • Must have general industry experience gained through working in various business functions at an operational level. Hold a solid understanding of operational and conduct risk principles and is well versed in the area of financial services operations.
  • Hold the general knowledge of regulated and compliant business environments and the control thereof
  • Ideally worked within motor related financial services or as a minimum worked within an associated services sector/financial services
  • Experience of working in an operational services environment, where multiple functional and stakeholder management was common
  • Hands on business case proposals, BI dashboards & reports, and business presentations
  • Can exhibit sound business acumen, has excellent interpersonal skills and is comfortable and confident when dealing with Senior management.

This role is offering a competitive salary of up to £36,000 plus a very generous 18% quarterly performance based bonus. With offices based in Reigate, this client is offering hybrid working and working hours of 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday with an hour for lunch
