Salary: £23,481.32 basic plus performance bonus (£1500) and excellent benefits

Hours: 35 hour week, shift basis within a 24/7 call centre, between 7am and 10pm, Monday to Sunday

Our client is one of the UK’s leading Medical Assistance providers and due to business growth, they are looking to recruit 4 x Customer Assistance Coordinators within the Medical Assistance Team to join the team on a remote basis.

They are looking for candidates with exceptional customer service skills, who are engaging, empathetic and able to deal with sensitive and difficult situations – you will have good listening skills and the ability to multi-task large caseloads, ensuring that customer needs are met and all documentation and records are kept up to date.

What will your working week be like?

  • Handling incoming customer assistance calls daily in a helpful, friendly, polite and professional way. You could be liaising with clinics, GPs, customers or their relatives.
  • To provide proactive solutions to our customers in line with our clients expectations.
  • To manage each task to ensure that customers receive the most appropriate service in a timely and cost effective manner.
  • Handle all regulated complaints within the FCA complaint guidelines
  • Escalate high profile cases or contentious issues to the right Manager as soon as possible.

Do you have the required skills to be considered?

  • Good standard of general education.
  • English Language GCSE pass or equivalent
  • Genuine desire to provide a high level of customer service
  • The ability to effectively manage multiple cases
  • Excellent telephone communication
  • PC literate
  • Good worldwide geographical knowledge
  • Proven experience of providing a quality customer service within a pressurised environment
  • You should be a great communicator and be able to get on with people
  • You need to be flexible, proactive and think on your feet

As this role is fully remote, it’s important that you are able to create a healthy workspace, which includes good lighting, comfortable temperature and a suitable desk and chair.  You’ll need a quiet and secluded place to work, ideally a room that you can use as a home office, whilst you are working. Your desk should be a suitable size to accommodate a thin client (PC), two screens, keyboard and mouse.  While working, a professional environment should be maintained – no background noise or interruptions please!

You will need to have a minimum Wi-Fi Internet speed of 20mbps and a telephone landline installed and available for use.
