What will your working week be like?

 

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a very established company within the HR department supporting the Head of Human Resources.

  • Support department HR initiatives
  • Work closely with line managers to support implementation of business plans and strategies
  • Provide clear and effective advice to management on HR related issues including performance management, employee relations, compensation, organizational design and workforce planning
  • Advise employees and managers on best practices relative to talent management
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, actively reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Partner with business leaders to increase productivity and ensure they on-board, engage and retain their staff successfully
  • Assist in delivering all of HR’s strategic objectives
  • Understand issues from a corporate and business unit perspective and communicate effectively with all levels of staff

 

Who will suit this role?

 

The suitable candidate will have experience of working within an HR Generalist role within a corporate business.  Experience of working within Insurance or a Financial Services environment would be an advantage.

 

  • CIPD qualified
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • An organised and structured approach to work
  • Proven ability to contribute to the design and implementation of HR strategies, programs, and processes in support of the overall business strategy
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills; ability to influence others, manage conflict and exercise good judgment
  • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple conflicting priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities; facilitation and project management skills a plus
  • Intermediate level  of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
