Salary: £28,000 to £35,000 DOE

Location: Wimbledon – with WFH opportunity

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Benefits: 20 days holiday increasing to 25, private healthcare

This really is a role that offers a mix of both Marketing and Sales – they are looking for a confident communicator to liaise with clients and follow up on email marketing initiatives 3 days per week, to creating copy for newsletters, blogs, reviewing website content and other marketing activities, 2 days per week.

Reporting to the Commercial Director and working within a small team, your role will be very customer focused, so they are looking for a personable and passionate candidate who believes in offering a first-class level of service.

What will your working week will involve?

  • Manage day to day prospect queries, following up email campaigns sent via the content marketing application, dotdigital.
  • Carry out administrative duties which may include filing, photocopying, scanning, franking mail, answering the telephone, diary and calendar management, issuing letters, digital prospect information packs, etc.
  • Make outbound calls to prospects and maintain telemarketing operations (training will be provided on all aspects of the solutions they provide).
  • Assist in the management, execution and follow up of email marketing campaigns.
  • Update and maintain database/lead directory.
  • Help develop a pipeline for ROI (guidance will be given on all aspects of this area).
  • Actively monitor enquiries, new prospects and new clients.
  • Update website content and social media sites as required on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Search retail related news for topics and content for the monthly newsletter with ability to write copy for blogs, articles and case studies.
  • Assist with communications with suppliers and customers during campaigns, tradeshows and internal sales events.

Is this the role for you?

Our client is able to offer flexible working remotely, with attendance to meetings on-site and some travelling required from time to time. Ideal candidates will have previous experience within a retail environment along with excellent customer service skills and the following:

  • Highly proficient in English both written and verbal.
  • A polite, confident and friendly manner.
  • Honest and consultative approach to retail solution sales.
  • Computer literate. Experience with Dotdigital, Salesforce CRM is an advantage
  • To enjoy working with customers and building relationships.
  • A positive attitude.
  • Flexibility and quick thinking.
  • To be well-organised and thorough, even under pressure.
  • To enjoy working within a target-driven team environment.
  • GDPR knowledge will be a great advantage.
  • Strong influencing skills to gain trust and achieve results.
  • Must be diligent, eager and quick to learn.
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good team player who can also work on their own initiative.
