This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful Insurance division within a growing, yet well-established, leading multi-site Finance and Advisory Business, based within their offices in Widnes.

 

As they grow, our client is looking for an additional SME Insurance Account Handler to join a high performing team. Individuals will hold hands-on experience and knowledge of liability and property insurance for all sectors; in addition to this they are looking for someone who has held a stable career as well as the drive and ambition to be successful.

This is a very small insurance team within a much bigger group (accountants) however are offering significant development and progression opportunities for anyone who can recognise this and wants to be part of a team where you will be recognised for hard work and dedication.

 

My client requires a commercial Account Handler who is experienced in a wide range of SME commercial lines. You'll be the number 2, working alongside the Director, assisting them with the day-to-day Account Handling duties.

 

 

Who will this role suit?

 

This role would be ideal for a candidate who is currently working for a broker who doesn't match their ambition and career aspirations, someone who is looking to progress in their career but doesn't have the option in their current business.

 

The broker uses the Acturis system, so should you have experience using that insurance software then this will be a huge advantage, although not essential, other systems experience will be considered.

 

What is essential is that you are keen to join a business, work hard, and have the hunger to do well in your career as a Commercial Account Handler. Should you wish to do more than Account Handling then there will be the opportunity for the right candidate.

 

Essential:

  • Experienced cross class handlers only
  • Good knowledge of liability and property insurance for all sectors
  • Must be able to work on your own initiative, referring as required to follow a set process and to high standards
  • Liability insurance
  • Property insurance

Desirable:

  • PI knowledge a plus

 

 

Parking: Free onsite parking is available.

Working hours:  9:00-17:15 Monday to Wednesday

Holidays entitlement: 25 days plus bank holidays

 

Those without experience of working within a commercial broker will not be considered.
